and Holiday Apartment
A holiday stay in an aura of art and Goethe: In 1776-77 the young writer had his first Weimar domicile in this Renaissance house opposite the castle. Today the fourth floor accommodates a centrally located holiday apartment for two to seven persons, equipped with all the modern amenities. Light-filled rooms, attractive furnishings, a functional kitchen and sensitivity to detail make a stay in these 70 square metres a memorable experience. To render your visit to a cultural centre all the more complete, we have decorated the walls with works of contemporary art - approximately two dozen original artworks are to be found throughout the fourth floor. In addition to the holiday apartment, a separate guest room for two persons is also available. Our offer:
- Guest room and apartment on the fourth floor of a protected historical monument (without lift)
- Historical wooden stairway and floorboards, modern furnishings (latex mattresses, etc.)
- View of the castle and the park
- Contemporary art from the ACC Galerie in all rooms
- Central location
- Free parking avaliable if required
- Internet connection free of charge: stationary on ground floor, via WLAN throughout most of the building
- Water heated by CO2-neutral technology using solar collectors
- Payment by EC card possible
- Private atmosphere - guest accommodations limited to one floor
- Arrival between 3 pm and 12 midnight, departure by 11 am (or later by special arrangement)
Guest room: Furnishings and fees
- Pleasant, bright double room (15 square metres), shower and toilet (small but modern)
- Monday to Thursday: 45 Euros/night (without breakfast),
Thursday to Monday: 60 Euros/night (without breakfast)
- Discounts (on total price): 10% for 7 nights or more, 20% for 14 nights or more, 30% for 21 nights or more
Holiday apartment: Furnishings and fees
- Altogether approx. 70 square metres:
- Kitchen (equipped with stove/oven, dishwasher, tableware, cutlery, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle, good wine glasses, large salad bowl, etc.)
- Living room with large dining/work/game table and corner sofa bed (sleeps 2 persons), small television
- Large modern bathroom (toilet, shower and bathtub) with small balcony
- Bedroom for 2 persons
- Sleeping loft under the roof for 2 persons (low ceiling, only for sleeping, steep stairway, very cosy, with dormer window)
- For 1 to 6 persons (ideal for 4 persons as this allows full use of living room)
- Monday to Thursday: 70 Euros/night,
Thursday to Monday: 90 Euros/night
- Additional fee for cleaning and linen: 30 Euros (for up to 4 persons, 10 Euros for each additional person)
